dropd is a community of trusted neighbours who receive and store packages in their home on behalf of shoppers. By registering and becoming a dropd neighbour, you can earn extra income whilst being a great neighbour. Once your area is active, you will be able to receive deliveries from our retail partners and get ready for shopper handovers at an agreed time.
Anyone in Australia can signup to become a dropd Neighbour. Together, we will change the way shoppers receive their packages.
Visit our signup form and follow the prompts. You can also register using our iOS or Android app.
Once you have registered and onboarded with dropd by downloading our iOS or Android app, you will be able to receive deliveries from our retail partners. Make sure to keep an eye on your notifications to receive alerts when you need to be home to accept deliveries and complete shopper handovers. By successfully completing a handover with a shopper, you will receive a dropd payment.
Getting started with the dropd Neighbour app is easy:
- Keep an eye on your Neighbour app notifications and when a package is allocated to you it will appear on your home screen
- You will receive an app notification when the delivery is on route and expected to arrive
- Once the package is delivered, make sure to capture at least one photo of the package and store it safely
- If you miss a delivery, you will need to follow the redelivery steps as specified by the logistics provider
- The shopper will book in a pick up based on your availability and you will receive a notification in your Neighbour app
- You and the shopper can chat about the handover if required in a safe way to solve simple problems
- Complete the handover using the shopper PIN and make sure you check you are handing over the correct package
- Make sure to rate your experience you had with the shopper and feel free to leave any further comments
- Cashout your earnings whenever you want to a nominated bank account
- If you ever get stuck or need help, we can always be contacted through the help button throughout the app
You will only need to be home to accept deliveries and when shopper handovers are scheduled during your availability windows. Ensure your availability is kept up to date within your profile page in the app.
You will only receive deliveries from dropd retail partners. Packages will be of a standard size that can be handled by one person.
Do not worry, this sometimes happens. Please action any required redelivery steps as specified by the logistic provider. If you require assistance, please contact us through the Help button in the app.

For every successful handover with a shopper, you will receive a dropd payment. You will be able to cash out your earnings whenever you want within the app. Payments will be completed through a bank transfer to your nominated bank account.

Shoppers regularly experience problems with receiving online deliveries. dropd solves this through our network of trusted neighbours who receive deliveries when they aren't home.

Our dropd neighbours are a diverse group of community minded people in your local area. They have made the commitment to help receive your packages so you can pick up when you are ready. All dropd Neighbours are trusted and have had their identity verified as part of on-boarding.
Simply select a dropd Neighbour at the check-out when shopping with one of our retail partners. Once your order has been placed you can keep up to date with your delivery on our iOS or Android app. When the delivery has been received by your dropd Neighbour make sure you schedule a pick-up via the app and use your dropd PIN to securely complete the hand over.
As dropd is currently starting up, our community of trusted neighbours are primarily based in metropolitan Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We are actively expanding and will soon be commencing operations nationally throughout Australia.
Things change sometimes and that is ok. You can easily reschedule your pick up time within the dropd app. You can also message your dropd Neighbour via the chat function if you are running late.
You are expected to pick up your delivery within 7 days of the package being delivered to your dropd Neighbour.

As a retailer, dropd enables the entire customer delivery journey through our simple shopping cart integrations which directly plug into most e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce etc). Integration with dropd will improve your delivery experience and support an increase in sales conversion by providing shoppers with more choice at checkout.

dropd charges a flat fee per shipment and a small monthly subscription fee for use of our dropd network. The pricing model gives you the flexibility to decide how the dropd service is paid for. Through our eCommerce apps and widgets, you can decide how much of the dropd fee is passed onto your shoppers.
